amazing family escape with friendly staff and great fitness center

Karnes City Lodge was a fantastic choice for my family! The kids loved the pool, and the staff was wonderfully accommodating. Great location near San Antonio was a bonus!

The hotel was a nice base for enjoying a safe area, not far from Texas and the liquor store. Units with comfortable beds. A fridge, coffee/tea makers and a seating area where useful.

The room was fairly quiet and comfortable and included tea and coffee making equipment, a fridge, and a cooktop. A handy kitchenette was ok for me. It had particularly good location, adjacent to Texas and San Antonio.

Be mindful of kitchen amenities. Pack extra snacks, as some kitchen setups can vary significantly between rooms.

Decent accommodations with reliable Wi-Fi and a tv for downtime. Laundry facilities available, although may need some updates.

Room required a thorough cleaning behind the beds, and furniture showed serious wear-like a stained and tattered sofa and a bench in similar condition. The refrigerator kept making noise all night, and breakfast wrapped up too early at 9:00 AM. the coffee setup lacked cream, sugar, or sweetener, and the coffee itself was pretty skimpy, with only paper cups provided.

Absolutely horrid experience. We didn't get breakfast promised, which cost us $70 total unexpectedly. The room wasn't cleaned properly, with dirty areas behind the beds. I expected at least a complimentary upgrade or something for my inconvenience but got nothing. Oh, and the bathtub? Yes, it had a hole. Not worth the price, seriously.

The exercise room was a pleasant surprise, and my room was spacious and clean. The staff were accommodating.

Wi-Fi was reliable, and the room had a tv. Laundry facility needed improvement.

I had a decent stay with plenty of space in my large room, but be prepared for staff interruptions early in the morning and not-so-great cleanliness.

The suite offered comfy beds and ample space. An efficient air conditioning system kept things cool. Unfortunately, the cleanliness behind the beds was below par, and the refrigerator made noise throughout the night, disrupting sleep. The breakfast selection was quite limited, leaving little to choose from each morning.

Utterly happy with everything.

Convenient spot for a quick overnight stay, with a modern setup. Has a separate bedroom, which is always a plus. Staff are super friendly and nice. Also, it's right smack in the middle of town 🏙️.

The hotel is clean and brand new. the rooms are incredibly comfortable. - the staff is very courteous. - Convenient central location close to the liquor store, Sea World, Texas, and Helena.
